DEMERA Privacy Policy
Protecting your personal data is important to us. When processing your data, DEMERA complies with all legal requirements. Data is used solely for the purpose for which you have provided it to DEMERA. Your data will never be shared with third parties unless it is necessary to carry out the action you have requested (for example, our payment provider uses your payment details) or if we must comply with a legal obligation. Your data will not be retained for longer than strictly necessary and never for more than two years. You can request the deletion of your data at any time by sending an email to info@demera.ngo.
What data do we process about you?

Ongoing financial donation: first name, surname, address, postcode, city, country, email address, credit card number, expiration date, CVC, full name on the card. This data is retained by DEMERA for as long as the support continues (your credit card details are not stored by DEMERA but by the payment provider).

One-time financial donation: first name, surname, address, postcode, city, country, email address. This data is retained by DEMERA for two years.

2a. Credit card number, expiration date, CVC, full name on the card. This data is not stored by DEMERA.

2b. (only in the Netherlands) iDEAL payment. This data is not stored by DEMERA.

Contact form, volunteer webform, contributor webform: first name, surname, email address, content of your message.

Email to info@demera.ngo: email address, sender's name, content of the message. This data is retained by DEMERA for two years or longer if necessary.

Email newsletter subscription: email address. This address is retained by DEMERA for as long as the subscription continues.
By providing your email address to DEMERA, you give DEMERA permission to contact you occasionally by email during the retention period. We use this authority sparingly.
